Charlie

I still don't know how to handle what's happened. Freedom of speech is essential to democracy and I feel like we've been depraved of it since Wednesday morning. France is a country where you can speak freely without fearing the consequences. A pencil is not a gun.
It's like we've lost something - something important. These people were heroes. Sure, some people don't have a sense of humor and awkwardly, they thought they did that on purpose like an attack to their religion.
No one should be in danger for doing their job. No one should be afraid of what the consequences would be if they crack a joke. As Conan O'Brian said yesterday, in the Free world, the freedom of speech is a right and it shouldn't be any other way.
From now on, we should fight the short minded and fanatic people that believe that in the name of religion you can kill.
I've been mourning for my country. It's happened before in 2012 when a religious school was attacked.

I've been angry at the world and completely overwhelmed by the fact that should've not happened. Freedom of speech is worth fight for as any other liberty and if you feel like, speak freely.
I don't feel like posting any other futile thing today. My heart is with their closed one.

Reading Vogue, messy hair, big shirts and coffee on a Sunday is kind of the best way to wake up. I've been dying to print out some of my instax, so I've decided that I needed to print the best moment of 2014 including New York and dancing in a dress, in the sun. Since 2014 ended, on my social account I've shared some my highlight moments of 2014 and gave some explanations about their importance : the two following are. Then on Wednesday for NYE I headed to Le Bon Marché and stumbled upon Alexander Wang - so many fishes in the sea indeed. Remembering New York and this highlight moment - the High Line was my peace spot and one of the best view above Meatpacking district. 2014 was also important since I've tried to take this adventure a level higher, and that's definitely one of my favorite outfit of the year, besides the fact that I love discovering gem spots in the city to find out the perfect place to shoot. Found the perfect nude lipstick that turned out to be really useful for NYE. One of my last outfit I posted on the blog (FIY I'm super sick and I don't find the strength to get out of my bed except for some tea). L'Officiel is such a good glossy magazines, I'm not tired of reading some lost and old numero while drinking a fresh latte. Le Bon Marché is such a magical place. Kicking off 2015 while drinking some green juice and catching up on the blog.

What about your week?

Like a Yogi

Don't have the tendency to wander on Net-a-porter when I'm searching for a sport attire, but the Sport dedicated section on this luxury destination is absolutely amazing. Actually, it's called Net-a-sporter (which is super uber cool), and I'm pretty sure that if you want to go for a run or, as I do, take a break and switch for a yoga session, this will be very helpful.

Before the era of Calvin Klein Performance collection, if you were paying a minimum attention to your outfit when you were working out, you didn't know where to look. Now, there's a totale new category that's been created not so long ago, 'Sport Luxe', and that's something that gives you the urge to throw on a pair of Nike, and work out for the first time, with the envy to do so. Luxury sportwear is becoming, as unreal it is, a lucrative submarket where you feel the envy to get your hands on a dedicated workout outfit, and sometimes wardrobe.
Working out is a thing, but going for a run - or going for an hour of exercice - will be much more appreciated when you wear the right outfit on. Since, it's the sales, my workout wardrobe is having a dedicated shopping session.

Expectations

Unbelievably fast. You missed it. How is it possible that 2015 has already kicked in? It's a complete mystery to me. I did took some time off from the Internet world, from the time itself, for a few days, because December ends in fireworks, and after all, waking up in January doesn't seem any different. Oh well, I have not slept enough, got a fresh cup of roasted coffee but it seems juts like another day. Another day.
That doesn't sound promising at all. It's like you're expecting something new, something you've waited for long but, won't show up (it's exactly how the little one above feel when reading her horoscope - what about expectations?)
Goodbye 2014, cheers to 2015.

Since a few months, I've set myself some goals which include the one to embrace and enjoy every moment is gave to me.
I have a feeling that 2015 will be a lot more different than 2014, that something unpredictable will happen if I let things happening. Don't want to get cheesy - it's not my kind of thing - but, I want this space to be somewhere you'll find positive energy, inspiration or even something to make you smile (Now, I sound cheesy. Apologize needed).
What's in my mind, is that I'm going to spend the first week January working my ass off - If I may say so - for my finals. As you may know, I'm still fighting to get my Law School diploma, and I'd be glad the moment I'll be finally over it.

Besides that, I'm realizing that I took very seriously this blog adventure, and that I've wrote over 150 articles the past year. It might be nothing - comparison to some of the most popular and amazing blogger out there - but, I can finally say that I'm pretty proud of something I've accomplished by myself - or, to be more precise, with the help of some of pretty exceptional people. Hoping 2015 will bring more exceptional moments, more joy, smiles to all of you.

Wishing you a blessed 2015 - don't be afraid yo push forward, to dream a little bigger, to expect more, to be passionate about what you do, to be more adventurous, to believe you can step out of your boundaries, to give back, to take risks, to let your guard down and to be really happy with yourself!
