Coffee and Music

FriYAY.
This mix of words (including Friday and Yay) is totally appropriate, since as you may know, I've been studying a lot for my finals, and not it's finally over. Library life is surely the worst kind of life for anyone. Sometimes, it's so hard to keep up with the rhythm law school will weight on your shoulders.
As I'm on break now, I will keep up with my resolution to post more and more on this freedom of speech space. I had so much to do this past week, that I didn't even have time to pick up with some articles I've been scheduling.
Friday means also weekend, and for it's all about good coffee and music. I though I will share with you some coffee places I've been to the past few months, including one overseas.
Plus, what about sharing more music you need to listen to? I've been noticing that I have to listen to music to work (or work out) and do be productive.

Craft Cafe - It's been the place I've been popping to when I want to meet with some friends. The perfect thing is that you can work there, since there's a coworking place dedicating to it. Thing is, it depends what you're working on.

Telescope Café - Pretty sure all Parisians have heard about this place. Plus, you have to try the banana bread. I've never been a lover of that patisserie, but this one is definitely one of the best.

Kitsuné Café - For sure, it's one of the smallest coffee place I've been to. The coffee is really enjoyable, but the positive point is that it's closed to one of my favorite in Paris: les Jardins du Palais Royal. You definitely have to test the Matcha Tea Latte, heavenly good.

Coutume Instituutti - In the heart of Paris, it's hidden in the Finnish Institute next to Saint-Michel metro station. Make you sure you pop there when you have some time ahead and you just want to relax and have some good coffee. The people there are so nice, it feels like you're not in Paris anymore.

Fondation Café - One of the loveliest place you'll find in the heart of Paris. It's in the Marais, but it really worth it. The cakes and the scones there are so good, you'll definitely want to grab some.

The Barn - It's in Berlin, and it's pretty hard to find it since it's hidden. On this day I've been wandering through the neighborhood, and to be honest, I don't have any clue how I've stumbled upon it. That had been such a nice discovery, and I just want to say, you really have to pop there anytime you're in Berlin. I loved this city, and if you want me to tell you more about it, let me know.

Hope you like my picks x

Instagram #4

Reading Vogue, messy hair, big shirts and coffee on a Sunday is kind of the best way to wake up. I've been dying to print out some of my instax, so I've decided that I needed to print the best moment of 2014 including New York and dancing in a dress, in the sun. Since 2014 ended, on my social account I've shared some my highlight moments of 2014 and gave some explanations about their importance : the two following are. Then on Wednesday for NYE I headed to Le Bon Marché and stumbled upon Alexander Wang - so many fishes in the sea indeed. Remembering New York and this highlight moment - the High Line was my peace spot and one of the best view above Meatpacking district. 2014 was also important since I've tried to take this adventure a level higher, and that's definitely one of my favorite outfit of the year, besides the fact that I love discovering gem spots in the city to find out the perfect place to shoot. Found the perfect nude lipstick that turned out to be really useful for NYE. One of my last outfit I posted on the blog (FIY I'm super sick and I don't find the strength to get out of my bed except for some tea). L'Officiel is such a good glossy magazines, I'm not tired of reading some lost and old numero while drinking a fresh latte. Le Bon Marché is such a magical place. Kicking off 2015 while drinking some green juice and catching up on the blog.

What about your week?

Expectations

Unbelievably fast. You missed it. How is it possible that 2015 has already kicked in? It's a complete mystery to me. I did took some time off from the Internet world, from the time itself, for a few days, because December ends in fireworks, and after all, waking up in January doesn't seem any different. Oh well, I have not slept enough, got a fresh cup of roasted coffee but it seems juts like another day. Another day.
That doesn't sound promising at all. It's like you're expecting something new, something you've waited for long but, won't show up (it's exactly how the little one above feel when reading her horoscope - what about expectations?)
Goodbye 2014, cheers to 2015.

Since a few months, I've set myself some goals which include the one to embrace and enjoy every moment is gave to me.
I have a feeling that 2015 will be a lot more different than 2014, that something unpredictable will happen if I let things happening. Don't want to get cheesy - it's not my kind of thing - but, I want this space to be somewhere you'll find positive energy, inspiration or even something to make you smile (Now, I sound cheesy. Apologize needed).
What's in my mind, is that I'm going to spend the first week January working my ass off - If I may say so - for my finals. As you may know, I'm still fighting to get my Law School diploma, and I'd be glad the moment I'll be finally over it.

Besides that, I'm realizing that I took very seriously this blog adventure, and that I've wrote over 150 articles the past year. It might be nothing - comparison to some of the most popular and amazing blogger out there - but, I can finally say that I'm pretty proud of something I've accomplished by myself - or, to be more precise, with the help of some of pretty exceptional people. Hoping 2015 will bring more exceptional moments, more joy, smiles to all of you.

Wishing you a blessed 2015 - don't be afraid yo push forward, to dream a little bigger, to expect more, to be passionate about what you do, to be more adventurous, to believe you can step out of your boundaries, to give back, to take risks, to let your guard down and to be really happy with yourself!

Best Moments of 2014

Every NYE, there’s a bit of a tradition: doing a small recap of my favourite moments of the past year. Of course, I didn’t do it last year, since I’ve started this little journey not so long ago – and I hope I will continue to do so long enough to have a lot more to remember – but this year, I decided to do it, because it’s been a pretty hectic one. Law school will make you feel like you have no life, sometimes.

As  I was saving my favorite photos of the past months, I realized I've changed, I had so much growing up to do. Illusions and realities clashed all together and I've learnt that everything you want can be yours, somehow, if you do everything you can to accomplish it. I'm not saying that I've accomplished something big like Style Scrapbook or Lovely Pepa, but I did made something in my own, learning that I can trust myself.
2014 was definitely the year where I have finally realized one dream- traveling to New York by my own and see the city another way that I've did before.
I got to spend a part of the summer visiting the country I cherish the most with my best friend, and I got to meet some incredible people that I think come into my life for a reason, and I hope those friendships will last. Plus, I got to spend my birthday in Paris, at my favorite spot with my sister at La Durée. I traveled to places I've never been before and I realized that I could spend an entire night in the Desert looking at the stars, and enjoying it far much more that I've expected. I got to ride a camel - which was a pretty insane experience. Furthermore, I realized I could wake up at 3:00 am just to see the run rises on the edge of a cliff, just for the beauty of experiencing the most magical moment of a day.

I've literally discovered Paris this past year and I got to bring some contents I'm really proud of - especially this one we made at Palais Royal where I wore that perfect printed pink dress. 2015 is coming, and I hope that I'l realize some of the projects I put my mind into.

I always try to keep a positive attitude and try to find what are the highs and lows of each day. I try to work so hard and I'm determined to believe that 2015 will be so much more different that 2014.
May the new year bring you all the love and blessings you all deserve!

Thank you for being a part of my journey and I hope I will keep on and be able to do much more!!
