Hitting a Brick Wall

Dress : Zara / Shoes : H&M / Bracelets : H&M / Rings : Mango / Sunglasses : Asos

Back to business. Quitting for a moment the reminiscence of memories of my fabulous trip, let's enjoy a typical Parisian post.
I’m currently organizing my next trip at the end of the next week – for which I’m so excited, that when I’m thinking and talking about it, I’m dancing all by myself. I can’t even believe I will be there for a whole week… but more on that later. Don’t want to give away too much now or jinx myself. You don’t know what could happen, especially when you don’t know what you’re going to do there… I hope a lot!

Here, the weather turned out to be chilly and not sunny, even tho it's August. Fall is already in the place. But, as a matter of fact, I don't have the intention to quit those "bare legs" moments yet. Wearing dresses is something I'm loving more than ever - this dress is from Zara, and as I bought it in a rush, I know it's going to be a perfect basic in my wardrobe.

This post isn't only about this dress but also about those shoes. They’re from H&M and they are perfect.
This whole outfit might appear a little bit simple, but the edgy sunnies bring it all. I got so many compliments about this outfit, that I felt a little bit more love for this dress. That’s love right there, and just for a simple piece of tissue. I got the feeling that you should dress for yourself and as you want, and not to please someone else. It’s style, and it’s what defines you beyond the others. Hope you guys enjoy this look, and hope you’ll be okay since the posts are going to fluctuate a little bit, since I’m working, organizing and everything :)

Edge of a Cliff

Brandy Melville shirt, Levi’s Shorts, Nike trainers

During this trip, the major point was to challenge yourself - as we did just before taking those pics, we did a hiking trip through the Negev Desert. It was my first time in the south of the country, and I really think it was my favorite part. Facing the whole desert, hearing nothing but the wind and enjoying the sun - the temperature reaches the 50 degrees - was something incredible - just a one time experience. The pictures talk for themselves.
On that day, I wore those Levi's shorts and a Brandy Melville crop top I found just before leaving - this one became very handy, especially when outside it was so hot, I didn't know what to wear since I couldn't wear a dress to climb. Another challenge for me was - while I was facing the fact that I couldn't wear everything I wanted without ruining my whole wardrobe - to stay a little bit stylish. Wearing a scarf as a turban was my way to feel a little bit more in the desert kind-of mood.

On top of the Golan

Zara Shirt, Levi's Short, Pull and Bear Espadrilles, Asos Sunnies

I’m extremely sorry for my absence here, but as I told you earlier, I’m exhausted and even tho, I know I have to tell you all about my trip, it’s hard to just do it.
Anyway, those pics have been miraculously taken, because as you may find out (or just see on the pictures), that day we were in the North of the country, and there was a lot of wind. I don’t know if you ever did a hike in the mountains with your friends and even tho it’s fun, the sun and the wind don’t help. I did abstraction of those 2 elements - good for me.
We took these pictures on the highest point of the mountains after we climbed all the way up, and I found out that being fashionable in the fields while hiking and climbing could be a little bit more difficult than in Paris, where wearing Jeans is a must. I wore my vintage Levi’s 501 shorts - fabulous find I got just before heading the road - and a simple marinière from Zara. Again, my espadrilles were a important part of this outfit, as my cat eyes sunnies.
Up there, we discover a part of the country I didn't know, and I can’t tell you how much I learn about the people, about their way of living.
Then we headed to Tiberias, up in the North. The Kinereth Lake is something you have to see with your own eyes to just, measure the beauty of it. I don’t have words to explain it. Let's not talk about the sunsets there, because if there's something I fell in love with, except for the country, it's the sunsets. They are wonderful, and I admit it, the pictures don't do them justice.

Baha'I Garden

Zara Shirt, Brandy Melville Pants, Pull and Bear Espadrilles, Asos Sunnies, Vintage Bag

Ten days ago, I arrived in Tel Aviv, and even tho we didn’t sleep at all as we flew by night, we headed straight away at 7 am to the North of the country. I don’t know if I will tell you everything about my trip, but I definitely show you the marvelousness of this country, which is the dearest to my heart. This trip wasn’t much about resting, but much more about visiting and learning about my people, and my history – which may sound boring for someone like me, but it was the contrary. We went to Haifa, which is a city right next to the sea, and I saw for the first time the most beautiful garden in my entire life – the Bahai Garden. These gardens have a long history, and I was totally impressed by the hard work and the flawless perfection of this landscape. They consist of 19 terraces; the highest is the one of the Persian Garden with its trees in the foliage sculptured in eight-point stars. A stony staircase comes down up to the stunning terraced gardens situated below. The architecture of the garden is made by nine concentric circles, which look like waves, which go by getting bigger, and whose center is the sanctuary itself. We called those gardens the « Eight Wonder of the World », and I couldn’t be more agree. I was completely astonished by the beauty of the city.

After spending a nice day wandering through Haifa and the North – because we visited a lot of things that day – I had the opportunity to take a few pics. I wore a Marinière t-shirt from Zara and my long fluffy pants from Brandy Melville. My cat eyes sunnies was the perfect accessories of the day, and I have to mention my little leather backpack - which followed me everywhere during those ten amazing days. Hope you like the pics and thanks for your comments!
