Keep It Simple

Asos shirt, Zara Jeans (cut by myself), Mango Belt and Jacket, Zara Bag, H&M Necklace, Minelli Shoes

Has it ever happened to you to think that the Universe is just against you? Like you’re running out of your house while it’s still sunny, and you realized that your camera doesn't want to work, and of course, you don’t have any way to find a quick solution? Well that’s what happened to me yesterday.
But, we finally made it, and no rainy weather, wind or camera issue, could have stopped us to shoot this outfit. Maybe, I’m too happy about it, but I came across something yesterday, and I though it was right in time – when you smile to the world, the world smiles back to you. And that’s exactly what this Sunday was about.
About this outfit, I’ve been feeling like, since the weather is changing like a girl who doesn't know what she’ll wear on a night out (don’t tell me you didn't go through this!), a cut off jeans was just the perfect thing to put on. But, casual doesn't mean not chic. So, as it’s always a little chilly here in Paris, even in summer, my leather jacket was just the perfect piece to add on top on this casual, simple but perfectly shaped shirt. Yeah, we all know, Europe's weather isn’t California one, so it was not a surprise it was pouring rain the whole weekend. Hope you had a great weekend, and well, Monday doesn’t mean you can’t have a great week either! Hope you’re loving this series.

Moments

Introducing a new page on the blog: Moments. Maybe, to some of you it sounds weird, but I had this idea while listening to Ed Sheeran’s new album X, which is dope btw. I don’t think I’ve ever been in love with an artist as I am with this red head.

So, to make it short, this is all about moments happening in the week I want to share with you, my readers. I do know, that not everyone has Instagram (or is as addicted as I am with the digital life I sign for the moment I download this magical App – Apple you got me!) or checked it every day, so I though it’d be cool to share little moments I’m sharing via my account. So you might learn a lot more about the voice behind those posts popping from time to time:

1.      Last Sunday, we went to one of my favorite coffee shop in Paris, Kitsuné Café. If you live in Paris, and you want to taste a good kind of coffee (I’m a little obsessed with Starbucks Soy Latte, but it doesn’t kill me to try another thing!), go check out this little place. It’s so good.

2.      This pic was taken where we shoot one of the last shootings, at the Place du Palais-Royal. Definitely one of my favorite moment ever.

3.      I’m spending a lot of time in Le Quartier Latin at the moment. And I’m loving it when it’s sunny outside and I can just grab my lunch and eat on the Panthéon steps. Make me feel a little more Gossip Girl, or as I like to call it, it was a Blair/Serena girly duo moment.

4.      Doesn’t need more to say, that sometimes Paris is magic, and you just need to stop and look up.

5.      Suits are such a thing I’m craving for – so when I was thinking about my outfit on this day, I though it’d be cool to update the Suit trend a little bit.

6.      When I post this photo, so much people love it, insane. And I couldn’t love more this dress than I already do.

Hope you’re doing great on this Friday, because guys it’s the WE! TGIF.

Suit Up

Pull & Bear Blazer, Gina Vintage Shirt, Zara Skorts and Heels, Mango Boots, HM Necklace

Sometimes, I have the feeling that wearing a suit is much more stylish, than wearing a simple casual outfit, even though I’m all about casual. Now that’s summer, all I want is wear shorts, but not any kind. Yea, I do love my high waisted jeans shorts (and I’m trying to really find good one actually, and it’s so messed up!), but wearing this suit was somehow more chic, than anything else. I just updated the suit version by switching up the classical black shorts with a skort, that felt more comfortable and stylish to wander around Paris, especially when it’s 26 degrees out there – which is currently kind of crazy. I will, for sure, buy another skorts, because they are my go-to-kind-of-shorts for the summer. Oh, and we took those pictures at two different moments – so if you’re wondering why I don't wear the same shoes… I though it’d be cool to show you how to dress it up or down this combination of pieces, depends if you want to wear during a day or for a night out!

Palais Royal

HM Dress, Zara Heels

Here’s the thing: I love dresses, but I don’t wear them a lot. The reason why is because I never find one that I love enough to wear it and parade (like I do in this post), and that can allow me to twirl whenever I want. This one is da thing.
I saw this particular dress in a post of Andy, and I was so thrilled just when I saw the print, and the shape, that I went to every HM next to me to finally get my hand on it. I’m really surprised it’s an HM dress, but sometimes this big fast fashion brand can do a really good (let’s not be picky.. AWESOME) job!
Sure, I wanted to post pictures of this dress the moment I bought it, but I didn’t have the chance to do so, until yesterday, it was a perfect sunny (maybe too much) day, and I thought it’d be cool to parade in this pinky-dressy-suit at Le Palais Royal. So, yeah, maybe the tourists were a little bit intrigued by my twenty-three twirling/dancing self, but I don’t care. That was so much fun, and that’s what matters on a day like that. And, yeah, we saw a bride doing a shoot just next to these majestic columns.
