Unexpected

Sometimes life hits you harder than expected. Like others I like the security of the casualty and the safety of knowing that everything gravitating around you is under control, that it’s going to follow the path you drew in your mind. But, as I grew up more this year, I realized, some changes are sometimes more necessary than others. Being personal isn’t quite easy – and I guess, I’m not the first one saying that – but, starting this blog was kind of an unexpected and rush decision. I still don’t know if it was good or bad, but what I know is I quite enjoy it.

Well, there’s a lot of bloggers out there, and I was impatient to be a part of something I was really enjoying, and where I could just express myself my way.

As the whirlwind of the Fashion month ended just yesterday, I know - even if I didn’t get to be a part of it like the big bloggers I really admire, that I want to be a part of it. And, since, the work is the only way to climb the grades, I will do as it has to be done.

So as for now, this post being a little more personal than usual, I’d like to know what kind of thing I could upgrade here – besides the templates, which will be upgraded in a higher level soon enough. Having fun is the important part, and I will, for now on, stick to that idea that what you have to do for you is keep in mind that everything related to your work life should be enjoyed and not sustained.

Copenhagen Diary

Copenhagen was a city I was extremely curious to visit. I’ve heard so much about this city, and how minimalism – also concerning the Fashion industry – was ruling it. I’m completely into minimalism, as my outfit shows it. Always.

As I was on my way home, and after a delay of thirty hours - I arrived in the prettiest city I've ever seen. Copenhagen is the city of Coffee and Nordic fashion is defined as minimalist but with a chic and edgy twist that I really like.

From New York to Copenhagen, it's kind of a harsh change, but a nice one. There, people are lovely and more about enjoying a slow living pace, where New York is vivid, enthusiastic and kind of stressful.

What I wore isn't spectacular, but it's practical as it's a dress, and there's nothing better against the autumn season - as it has already started in the North - than a good leather jacket - every woman should has one in her wardrobe.

What I love the most in Copenhagen is the light - there's no such place as Denmark and Sweden as for example when it comes to the light. Everything looks spectacular when the sun is setting.

Another thing I really can't stop thinking since I've been back is the perfection of the Danish coffee.

KenzaXLVN Launch Party

This is just an update about the Launch of the collection KenzaXLVN, which was released last Monday. Kenza from LaRevueDeKenza is a blogger I’ve been following for a long time, and I’m always glad to be a part of something ever way she host, or she’s a part of as a stylist. She had the opportunity to work with one of the best Parisian brand in the moment, Eleven Paris, and create a piece, which they decided to launch the day before Paris Fashion week started. Kenza went for a colorful/black playsuit with long sleeves, and the patterns was quiet original, but still wearable, especially for someone like me who’s more about simple black and white, than crazy colorful patterns. I was surprised Eleven Paris decided to release such a pattern since they’re known for their tee-shirts collection and their rock edgy style. As the autumn is approaching, they started to stock the racks with their A/W collection. And I must admit this is quiet good – the inspiration is more punkish, inspired by the Irish culture, but still somehow kind of incredible.

During the launch, I’ve been lucky enough to meet Kenza and took some pictures with her – and she’s really a beautiful and talented person/blogger to whom you can relate easily. The amount of fashionistas there was countless. You’ll learn more about the collaboration here.

Little Black Dress

A little black dress and a pair of Richelieu boots are two wardrobe essentials every woman should own. I found my perfect LBD in New York last week at a store called Pop Up Mob, which carried a lot of Aussie brands as The Fifth, Cameo the Label, Finder Keepers. 

Black dress, and especially shirt dress, all look the same. But, in my mind, they are all quiet different- depends if you're up for long sleeves, short sleeves, above knees or not. Do you want it fitted or not fitted? With one pockets, two or not at all? Don't freak out. I've been there, and I just want to remind you, every choice is up to you; but what you have to do is not give up. I didn't and found this black shirt dress from the Fifth completely out of the blue. 

We shoot at les Colonnes de David Buren, at Palais Royal, and once again - this was just amazing. Paris during Fashion week seems a little more brighter.
