Travel bucket list

Blogging takes time, ressources and extreme low temperatures don't help shooting outfits. Since I don't have something new to post, and because I don't want to post something old, I though I'll talk about something that I cherish particularly: my travel bucket list. I've been wandering on the Queen of JetLags blog (which I fell in love with just a few days ago, this girl's ama-zing) and Jessica's one.

There's a few places I dream to go (or to go back actually).

First one: Australia and especially Queensland. I don't know what is about this place, but I dream to go there badly. This dreamy life every Australian blogger is talking about is enviable, and I've been dreaming to land in the country of infinite summer for years. It's unique, it's diverse, it's big and this continent is bloody beautiful. Tropical North Queensland, Great Barrier Reef, Whitsunday Islands, Fraser Island, The Sunshine and Gold Coasts, Brisbane, and of course, Sydney. Dreamy, dreamy place.

My second place will be Tel-Aviv. I've already been there a few times, and this is definitely the place I call home. So many few people doesn't know about the beauty and the fabulousness of this country that is Israel. One thing I've learnt is that when you don't know about something, the most important thing is to never believe what others might think about it - let's be honest, rumors and misleading stories are obviously one of those things that lead to misbeliefs, hatred and closed minds. Unfortunately for some, I'm definitely not like that, and as you might have understood by now, I love meeting new people and culture. Travelling is one of the best thing we have the opportunity to have, and the beauty of a life of travels is definitely that you become richer once you're back. This is the idea that's driven me to explore and to do that bucket list.
Anyway, if you're still with me (and I'll appreciate it a lot since I'm chatting a lot, but who cares?), Tel-Aviv is one of those places you want to put a foot on. The beaches there are quite amazing when there's not a soul around, and you realize the place belongs to you.
There are so many places and spots I want to point for you to go... Will do this very soon!

Third one being Bali, Indonesia.
Never been to the Asian continent, but that's one of my bucket list spots. It seems like Bali has so much to offer to our eyes. Every people I met, and that have been there, explained me that it was one hell of a place. Even the food is amazing and nourishing. Don't make me start on the sunrises.

Fourth: Road trip around America, and especially, it's been a dream of mine to see the Grand Canyon, Scottdales, El Paso, Texas, Tucson and Los Angeles (even tho I've already been there once). The world is big and a magical place and there's so many things to see. Hopefully, I'll cross this one soon enough.

Finally, Croatia and the Dalmatian Coast. I've been wandering on the amazing blog of Jessica, and her european roadtrips always amazed me. I've already talked about my plans to go there in a few months, and hopefully it will turn out pretty well, but this place is definitely something to see. It seems like it's a beautiful and untouched by the hands of man kinda place. Somehow, even tho I love our european cities, places that have been stayed "true to themselves" if I might say so, are the most beautiful one for me.

What about YOUR bucket list guys? I really want to know what's on yours, and what places you've been dreaming to put a foot on, and desire a passport stamp? Yea, let's be honest, that's the point of a passport: collecting, collecting and collecting stamps. x

December Resolutions

It’s the end of the year, which means it’s time for some us to start make some resolutions. I’ve never used to make some resolutions before the new year starts. Indeed, I believe that if you want to make a change in your life, you don’t have to do it because it’s January 1st. Thing is, if you want to do something, go for it. There’s nothing stopping you – but, that’s the way I’m living by. I still have to make some improvements tho. We all have something we want to work on. So I’m going to a make a few changes for this new year…

  •  Make a list of things I want to do. And stick to it. Is this a thing, or am I not the only one starting to make lists of what I want to do? Happiness is in the little things, so writing down what you want to accomplish every day is a start, and if it makes you smile, it might be a really good thing. Those instax you’re seeing above are kind of a reminder of what I’ve been able to achieve. So, doing little things everyday is a way of accomplishing what you want to do steps by steps. I’m going to start this right now, and see what’s coming then.
  • Start to make some changes, and don’t wait on for ages. I’ve been thinking about this one, and I get on board of this pretty amazing mantra for about a year now, and I’m starting to think, it did some good in my everyday life. Time to take some decisions, and for that, don’t you have to believe in it?

  • Getting a new camera. I’m pretty pleased with my DSLR, but I want to improve my contents and if it takes to get a new camera, I will get one. Well, that means finding a plan B to keep on this journey - photographer. Plus, I really want to stick to this idea of capturing every moment to, in the future, remember it.

  • Stick to a better way of life. Eating healthy, stick to a work out routine – that are some of those things I might get on board. Eating healthy change your life, and indeed it takes some will to keep on, but what if it worth it? Guess, junk food is hard to give up on.
  • Don’t give up on projects you want to pursue. I used to think everything in life will come easily, but that’s not true. You have to fight for it if you really want it. So, as I’m not a teen anymore, I have some projects I really want to achieve and I will do everything to make them coming true. ‘Dreams are coming true’ might be another idea I might live by, starting now. It’s always rewarding to see something you have in mind becoming true. As for an example, I’ve dreamt to go to New York during FW for ages, and even tho I didn’t have the typical journey (if there’s one) of a blogger, I went to NY, and that was the best trip I’ve ever did.
What are yours?

10 FACTS ABOUT ME

I’m having one of those days where everything seems okay – got interesting courses this morning, wasn’t late, got a Ksumi Tea, and for once in ten days, the sun is shining. Still I feel a little bit down, and since I’m sharing a few things, I though I’d keep going and share some ten facts about me.

1. Coffee – I used to hate the taste when I was a kiddo.
Now, I practically can’t live without it, and, for me, not having my latte in the morning is exactly like missing the first cigarette in the morning for a smoking person. Well, I know it’s not great to be hooked on something like that – and I adore detox tea, but still coffee has a hold on my heart – day? – I won’t deny.

2. Sneakers – A pair like this would never get into my closet before last September. I bough my first pair of sneakers – and that’s a big decision for a girl like me – but, I found out sneakers are the most comfortable shoes in the world. Especially when you’re walking 12 KM a day during Fashion week, running all around to get the most out of your day.

3. Pictures – One thing that might appear completely nuts, or random (make your choice) is that I hated – still I’m not quite comfortable with it – to be shot. Actually, it’s not the all concept that I couldn’t stand, but most myself being captured.
Part of growing up is facing your random fears and insecurities, and that was one  of my biggest insecuritiesI guess. Now, I changed my position, but still
I’m really picky about choosing the right shots that would show exactly what
I want to share with you about an outfit or a piece of my closet.

4. The month of April – It’s always been my lucky number. I’m born on April 4th, part of my family is born in April, some important things happened in April also. Plus, it’s the beginning of Spring, and that’s my favorite moment of the year.
The number 4 has also some signification for me… and I’ll turn 24 next year, so that might bring some other amazing things.
Who knows? Keep in touch.

5. Hat / Panama – I have a percent of love feeling for hats that are beyond the reasonable. Each time I stumbled upon one of those adorable and stylish pieces I have to purchase it. Since it’s winter, fur hat are a must.

6. Photography – It’s sure is one of my passion. Getting my hand on my first canon was quite a moment, and I know I have to develop my skills in that area, which I consider as an art.

7. Greens – Healthy might not mean anything to you, but it became such an important word in my life. It turned out that I needed a wakeup call to give up on all of my bad habits, and to finally eat my veggies – which I hated when I was a kid (but who doesn’t?) Still, it turned out that now, I’m the freaky veggie addict in the room, while everybody around me is keeping on tracks their lifestyle habits. Lifestyle is exactly the domain where I changed some things.

8. Dancing – Not a ounce of shame to admit it that I love – due to this Taylor Swift syndrome – to dance by myself, when some music I love is on. I love all kind of music, and I used to
play guitar – which I didn’t quite quit on.

9. Taylor Swift – I like to think that my taste in music is quite cool and acceptable, but I love Taylor Swift and everything related to her music. I know some people dislike her, and might call it a childish kind of music, but she’s a self-made woman. That’s everything I want to achieve..

10. Travelling – No need to mention that’s one of the thing I love most in life. Every time I have the opportunity to jump on a plane I’ll take it; because sometimes evasion is what you need. Not to mention that sunsets are quite a passion of mine.

Thanks for baring with me to the end of this list! x

Copenhagen Diary

Copenhagen was a city I was extremely curious to visit. Ive heard so much about this city, and how minimalism – also concerning the Fashion industry – was ruling it. Im completely into minimalism, as my outfit shows it. Always.
As I was on my way home, and after a delay of thirty hours - I arrived in the prettiest city I've ever seen. Copenhagen is the city of Coffee and Nordic fashion is defined as minimalist but with a chic and edgy twist that I really like.

From New York to Copenhagen, it's kind of a harsh change, but a nice one. There, people are lovely and more about enjoying a slow living pace, where New York is vivid, enthusiastic and kind of stressful.
What I wore isn't spectacular, but it's practical as it's a dress, and there's nothing better against the autumn season - as it has already started in the North - than a good leather jacket - every woman should has one in her wardrobe.
What I love the most in Copenhagen is the light - there's no such place as Denmark and Sweden as for example when it comes to the light. Everything looks spectacular when the sun is setting.
Another thing I really can't stop thinking since I've been back is the perfection of the Danish coffee.
Anyway, thanks to the girl who took those pictures.
