On Instagram

Instagram clearly runs my life. This is the app I can't live without now, and it didn't use to be that way. It's so easy and so practicable when you're trying to do something on your own, such as blogging.

This past week was pretty speed, even if reality is always around. Lee jeans x New Balance, Coffee at the Verlet spot with my sister, checking out the Officiel Magazine I'm starting to pay attention and being interesting in religiously, getting a pumpkin muffin at a super cute place next door to my college was the highlight of my week. We took a stroll through Paris, and bumped in those beauties and Eric Kayser, which reminds me a lot of Manhattan, and Eric Kayser buying a space on the 86th and Lex. Got this white oversized shirt on a man's shelf, and well it suited me so well, I didn't want to get it off. Leaves are falling from the trees at a speed I've never noticed before - it's kind of awesome to stop and watch the sunrise setting in the horizon. Last but not least, there's an awesome perk at sneakers I discovered just two months ago: they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. And, I wore one of my favorite outfit last week. A black skort and a leather jacket never hurt.

When in doubt, wear black

There are perks and downsides to each season. There is a rule I live by in Fall, and no it’s not just layering, but it involves dark colors. When in doubt, wear black. It’s like the one if you’re showing legs cover up on top (aka Sarah in her last post). I live by basics, and I’m not fond of prints. It’s nice to add a little pop of color from time to time, but since I think it’s much more effective to keep it simple and lay down, why bother. Black is black, and black will always turn every opportunity in bright day.

Besides, a skort is the statement of the outfit. Ruining the essence of it would be a shame.

Sea of Black

Monday mood board should have been the title of this post, but since it’s a “preambule” to my next post, I went for a whole black inspired board. When in doubt, I wear black. That’s a thing I always stand by, and that should be engraved somewhere. This mood board is also colorful, because due to the cruel lack of color in the sky today, my craving for vacation is increasing. Okay, we’re in November and the sky should be grey, but wouldn’t be cool if there was just a ray of sunshine? So, in a way, my next dreamy destination would be Greece, and especially Oia. I heard so much about the magnificence of this part of the world.
Furthermore, I have the crazy need to get my hand on these Nike Air Max in Black. I really want those shoes on my toes.
I’ve become a total sneakers addict. Poor bank account.
Autumn, black attire, chunky and ankle boots and white flowers are my kind of thing right now. What’s your next destination that you didn’t cross of your bucket list?

What I Wore - October

Yea for November. I love this season so much for the moment. Like today, I just took a stroll with my accomplice and the weather was just so warm that I picked up a skort for my look of the day.
Here's what I wore in October, which has been quite the month where I posted a lot more than ever. It was a month of coats, strolls, pink sky moments and laughter ones I won't forget! Looking at the looks above I can see it's has been a pretty busy month and clearly about basics all days around. There's a thing about just wearing basics that's getting stuck in my mind. I developed a whole new mantra toward my style, and it's changing a little more each month passing by. There's another one ahead and I'm pretty excited about this one, and I bet it will be the month of beanies. But who knows what November is will bring? Snuggling and watching Scandal sounds like a plan. Autumn has its perks, definitely..
Happy weekend folks!
