Suit Up

Pull & Bear Blazer, Gina Vintage Shirt, Zara Skorts and Heels, Mango Boots, HM Necklace

Sometimes, I have the feeling that wearing a suit is much more stylish, than wearing a simple casual outfit, even though I’m all about casual. Now that’s summer, all I want is wear shorts, but not any kind. Yea, I do love my high waisted jeans shorts (and I’m trying to really find good one actually, and it’s so messed up!), but wearing this suit was somehow more chic, than anything else. I just updated the suit version by switching up the classical black shorts with a skort, that felt more comfortable and stylish to wander around Paris, especially when it’s 26 degrees out there – which is currently kind of crazy. I will, for sure, buy another skorts, because they are my go-to-kind-of-shorts for the summer. Oh, and we took those pictures at two different moments – so if you’re wondering why I don't wear the same shoes… I though it’d be cool to show you how to dress it up or down this combination of pieces, depends if you want to wear during a day or for a night out!

Palais Royal

HM Dress, Zara Heels

Here’s the thing: I love dresses, but I don’t wear them a lot. The reason why is because I never find one that I love enough to wear it and parade (like I do in this post), and that can allow me to twirl whenever I want. This one is da thing.
I saw this particular dress in a post of Andy, and I was so thrilled just when I saw the print, and the shape, that I went to every HM next to me to finally get my hand on it. I’m really surprised it’s an HM dress, but sometimes this big fast fashion brand can do a really good (let’s not be picky.. AWESOME) job!
Sure, I wanted to post pictures of this dress the moment I bought it, but I didn’t have the chance to do so, until yesterday, it was a perfect sunny (maybe too much) day, and I thought it’d be cool to parade in this pinky-dressy-suit at Le Palais Royal. So, yeah, maybe the tourists were a little bit intrigued by my twenty-three twirling/dancing self, but I don’t care. That was so much fun, and that’s what matters on a day like that. And, yeah, we saw a bride doing a shoot just next to these majestic columns.

Monochrome

Asos Hat, Mango Leather Jacket and Suit Top, HM Jeans, Mango Boots

Every little corner in Paris is worth blogging, and that's why I'm really into Carin's blog, because she's making justice to my city every time she snaps.
I thought it would be such a cool post if we shoot in one of my favourite spot: Les Quais just behind the Bibliotheque.
As you may know, or not, by now, I love the golden hour, and especially in summer. On Friday, it seems like a perfect summer day, and it cooled down just when we took those pics.
So, for sure you're gonna see different part of this shoot several times because, we shoot in different corner of this place. I think it's a little different from before and I really hope you like it.
I was wearing my favourite Fedora from Asos. Basically, these high-waisted greyish jeans from HM are perfect for this period of the year! Maybe, it's not boots season, but I have this syndrome where I love wearing boots in summer, am I the only one?
Happy Sunday, and you should really listen to this song. Great stuff.

The Longer, The Better

Levi’s Top, Asos Cardigan (similar here), Zara Jeans, Minelli Shoes, Le temps des Cerises Clutch

Each city has its own charm, and Paris is beyond the cliché of Place Vendome and The Champs-Élysées, it's a place where you can find yourself if an alley, and feel like you're in another town, in the countryside. And I love this freaking location.
So, as I was pretty exhausted from my crazy week (finals!!), I went for a basic, simple look. Bf jeans, a grey cardigan and a white tank top. These shoes are pretty much as old as I can remember and they're still doing their job without killing my feet (at least not until two hours walking like a crazy person aka fashion week moments (I guess)).
This cardigan is quite my favourite, it gives your outfit such another dimension, and it's how you realize, just a little inches more are missing.

Don't start me up on that tank top: I adore it. It's a Levi's one and I bought it in Toronto. It's perfect without being too much. Happy Friday folks!
